Fill That Bus! Food Drive at All FCSD Schools & Administration Building

Fill That Bus! Drop Off Donated Food Items Oct. 7-11 in FCSD Schools to Benefit Fairfield Food Pantry


Pick up an extra box of Hamburger Helper, a package of pasta, or an extra tube of toothpaste while you're grocery shopping this weekend and help us restock the Fairfield Food Pantry. The Fairfield City School District is partnering with the Fairfield Food Pantry October 7-11 to collect enough non-perishable foods and toiletries to fill a school bus!
The organization provides these items to nearly 600 families in need. The Pantry has seen a dramatic increase in families coming in for help - the bulk of them are from Fairfield.
You can help by dropping off donated items at the nearest school or the Fairfield Administration Building during regular business hours. Drop off locations will be near the main office in each building. Encourage your students to participate!

Which building will bring in the most by October 11?

Below is a guide to help get you started.
Cereal
Macaroni & cheese
Canned fruit
Peanut butter
Meals in a can such as Chef Boyardee, beef stew, etc.
Canned vegetables
Canned soups
Canned spaghetti sauce
Spaghetti and all pastas
Hamburger/Tuna Helper
Pasta Helper
Snacks - cookies crackers, etc.

This is a wonderful opportunity to help an organization that does so much for our familes in need.
