15th Crystal Classic

On March 2, Fairfield High School will present first-rate excitement and musical entertainment as 39 of the country’s best high school and middle school show choirs compete in the 15th annual Crystal Classic. Show choirs combine sensational singing, challenging choreography, dazzling costumes and live instrumentals to create high-energy shows that are sure to entertain.

Fairfield’s Crystal Classic has developed a reputation as one of the best show choir competitions in the United States. This year will include a stellar lineup of the best show choirs in the country representing schools from five different states - as far away as Mississippi and Maryland! Local groups include Ross, Northwest and Loveland high schools. Throughout the day, student performers will vie for the much-coveted crystal Grand Championship trophy.

In addition to the Grand Championship award, crystal trophies will be awarded for Best Vocals, Choreography, Costumes, and Instrumentals as well as placement awards. The evening competition will be a sing-off with the top six small mixed and top six large mixed show choirs competing for top honors in two venues.

Fairfield’s own “Rhythm Express,” “Pure Elegance” and award-winning “Choraliers” will also present an exhibition performance of their Championship shows.

Tickets are available at the door. Admission is $10 for preliminary day time round (9 a.m.-4 p.m.), $12 for the evening finals (7-11 p.m.) or $18 for a combination daytime/evening ticket.
