The 2nd Annual "Fairfield Fantastic Race!" is April 22! If you missed it last year, it is an exciting, interactive "extreme" scavenger hunt in the Village Green area of Fairfield sponsored by the Fairfield Prevention Coalition. Participant teams earn points by completing as many challenges during the race as possible. Prizes are awarded to teams with the most points. Early Bird Registration cost (through April 9) is $20 for ages 13-adult; $15 for ages 8-12; free for ages 7 and under. Late registration is $25 (April 10 through race day).
Challenges may include:
- Collecting random items
- Performing unusual tasks or acts of kindness
- Taking and posting photos
- Discovering facts about Fairfield’s past and present
Cash prizes for winners: 1st place - $250; 2nd place- $200; 3rd place - $150
Team names and team spirit are encouraged. Awards will be given to teams with the best display of team spirit!
