I have a Bachelors of Applied Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University.  After graduation I worked as a software developer for 10 years working for local insurance companies, a computer consulting company, & a local university.  More recently I switched to working at first Fairfield South Elementary (where my children attended) and now Fairfield North Elementary as a substitute EA, substitute teacher, a math tutor, and now a computer lab instructor. 

 

I have two children who have gone through the Fairfield City Schools District from kindergarten to the high school (one of whom will be graduating this year.)  I feel this experience helps me know what is important to the parents and students in this district.

 

The computer lab special will be a mixture of class based instruction and independent work on an online system with me just assisting them as needed.  The system that we are using is Learning.com and the students will be working at their own pace on that for the most part this year.
