Mission
The mission of the Fairfield Preschool program is to provide a language rich, play-based environment where every child feels safe, loved and welcome. We believe that the social-emotional growth is the foundation for academic growth and life-long success. We believe our relationship with our children’s families is the gateway to a partnership in each child’s development and education.
Our classrooms are inclusive settings that include typically developing children as well as special needs children. There are six inclusive preschool classrooms including one social communication classroom. Preschool classrooms are located at East, South and West elementary schools. Each class is taught by a licensed special education teacher and educational assistant. It is a play-based program that focuses on language and social development as well as Ohio Early Learning Content Standards.
